Salary Operations Administrator Salary: £24,500 p.a. Location: Gloucester Organised, proactive and on the ball? Do you thrive in busy environments and have a knack for managing multiple tasks? We’re looking for our Operations Administrator, and it could be you Stagecoach West are looking for a temporary Operations Administrator (six months with a one month break clause) for secondment cover for their Gloucester Transport Hub, who will provide exceptional administrative and secretarial support for operations management and our drivers, working within a supportive and friendly team. No two days will be the same, but they will include things like compliance checks for our drivers, answering telephone queries and managing the day-to-day administration tasks set by the management team. A little more of what you’ll do: Perform manual driver license checks, DQC (driver qualification card) checks and DBS (disclosure and barring service where applicable) card checks Ensure that Advanced Check (electronic license checks) bespoke database is continually up to date and that all drivers are legally compliant. Arrange company medicals liaising with our providers Manage our bespoke online recruitment database Answer enquiries made by telephone, written / email in an informative, courteous and grammatically correct manner exceeding the expectations of the customer. Maintain a tidy and organised work environment at all times. Manage and reconcile petty cash Comply by all internal audit requirements as identified by Stagecoach Group and in addition by our external financial auditors Deloittes. Support our team of drivers when required. Ensure that all electronic records are kept fully up to date using our EPM database. Assist the operations management team where required in answering customer feedback. What we need from you: You’ll have excellent communications skills, with previous experience in a similar role and proficient on Microsoft Office suite and touch typing. You’ll be organised, attentive to detail, good at developing and maintaining good working relationships, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. You’ll keep a cool head, and work well under pressure, with an initiative to prioritise tasks.
