The Cards platform is at the heart of meeting the needs of new and existing customers who want to access flexible credit. Our purpose is to help Britain prosper through responsible lending. We’re investing to make it effortless for customers to get the right credit product and features for their situation and lifestyle. We also know that customers will change over time so we’re making sure that our products grow with our customers and are straightforward to use every day.
We know the credit landscape is evolving faster than ever and our brands must be in our customer’s channels of choice when they need flexible credit. We’re building straightforward new credit journeys that give customers clarity on their eligibility, powered by data and the best underwriting. This is where you come in. We have an exciting role for a senior Product Owner to join our Acquisitions Lab, taking accountability for how we bring this vision to life.
You’ll be accountable for partnering to create innovative ideas and bringing them to market, whilst responding to our customer’s feedback along the way. You’ll partner with Product Managers, Customer Journey Managers and dependant platforms, like our core platform provider Fiserv, to bring those features to life.
To be successful in the role you’ll demonstrate the following:
* Ideally you will have experience in a Product or analytical discipline in consumer credit originations or risk underwriting.
* Leadership of complicated product areas with Product Manager/Owner experience, bringing features to market for customers, using agile methodologies.
* Experience of turning broad and ambiguous ideas into structured, tangible slices of customer value, leading the definition and aligning stakeholders around investment strategies.
* A passion for our existing and potential customers and what they need, gathering and analysing data about customers, competitors and potential opportunities.

* Energy and influence without authority to push what’s possible, with a focus on collaboration.
Role responsibilities:

* Partner with Customer Journey Managers, business stakeholders and User Experience Designers to build insights and define improvements to customer journeys.
* Take accountability for appropriate governance being undertaken for your features and journeys.
* Own what you build, taking accountability for journey performance, issues and incidents
