Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Team Manager, Worcestershire Council, Children's MASH Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team.
The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.
The responsibilities will include:
1. Make threshold decisions on all referrals for children across Worcestershire, partake in daily Domestic abuse triage and MASH case discussions.
2. Lead and manage a pod with a team of three Team Managers.
3. Make challenging decisions at the front door.
4. Work positively as part of a team and with our partners promoting good quality practice.
5. Liaise with other professionals.
6. 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation).
7. 3 month Temporary Contract.
8. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance.

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
