Cooneen Group requires a Senior Contracts Manager for our Contracts Team at our Fivemiletown Head office. The purpose of the role is to manage the team to ensure that newly won contracts are successfully mobilised, current contracts are maximised in terms of sales and margin, contractual KPIs and SLAs are met, customer service and satisfaction targets are achieved and exceeded; and contracts are successfully retained. Responsibilities: To identify opportunities for improving the method of operation in your area of responsibility. To implement improvements, which have been agreed with your Manager. Ensure the development and implementation of contract management strategies / plans for each contract held, to deliver maximum sales and margin and ensure the successful delivery of each contract throughout its lifetime. Ensure that the required resources and processes are in place to successfully manage all contracts. Ensure the mobilisation of new contracts to meet contractual KPIs and SLAs. Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships and communication with your counterpart within each customer organisation and ensure the same happens throughout the contract management teams. Negotiation and agreement of contract terms and conditions that protect and favour Cooneen, at tender submission and at contract commencement and as required at other times throughout the lifetime of the contract. Develop multi-year sales and margin forecasts for all contracts held, to cover the lifespan of the contract. Set, agree, and achieve detailed annual sales and margin targets for all current contracts held, and ensure the flow down of sales and margin targets to each business area. Implement robust controls to manage raw material and finished goods stock levels to ensure minimal stock write-downs. Set, agree, and remain inside the overhead budget for your area. Manage the contract management teams to ensure contract retention plans are developed and successfully implemented and contracts are retained. Work closely and collaboratively with all departments but particularly technical, production, and business development to ensure contract re-wins are robustly qualified, prepared for, and the resultant tender bids submitted. Develop, implement, and flow down any additional key metrics required to manage and improve the success of the contract management teams. Identify marketing requirements needed to support the contract retention strategies. Report on all the above on a regular basis to ensure sales, costs, profitability, and performance are all monitored and improved. Requirements Essential Criteria Demonstrable experience of a commercial role, at senior or director level. Proven track record in developing a commercial or contract management team to consistently achieve sales, profit targets and high levels of customer satisfaction. Understanding of clothing productions, ideally in the Defence, Aerospace or Personal Protective Equipment markets. Experience in building excellent customer relationships. Competent in the use of MS Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
