Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale D: £12,305 to £12,500 pro-rata per annum (Actual) (£24,790 - £25,183 full time/full year equivalent)

Thetford Academy is seeking to appoint an Administration Assistant to join our team at our thriving academic and inclusive school. The administration assistant will provide administrative and clerical support services to a high standard, supporting management, other office staff, teachers, students and parents in an efficient, positive, professional and effective manner.

The main responsibility of this role will be:
1. To be a visible, positive staff member to welcome parents and visitors
2. To undertake administrative, secretarial, work processing/typing, computing and information/data services, ensuring functions efficiently meet the needs of the school
3. To provide support to reprographics, student support, reception cover and break duties
4. To support with the organisation in advance of a trip or visit
5. To attend first aid training and be a first aider as part of a rota
The ideal candidate will have/be:
6. Good numeracy and literacy skills/GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
7. General or administrative experience
8. Fully competent at using ICT
9. Confident in use of Office 365
