Based in St Andrews, we offer exclusive, high spec itineraries across Scotland, Ireland, England and a range of other destinations throughout the world. The position of Tour Coordinator is a challenging and varied role that requires superb communication skills, an understanding of the luxury golf travel sector and a high level of flexibility in your work calendar.
What to expect:
1. 40 hrs/week including 1hr paid lunch break + seasonal overtime + 33 days paid holiday.
2. A generous starting salary dependent upon skill-set and experience (£27-30k).
3. A high level of training and support from a friendly team which will allow you to develop confidence in building, communicating and modifying client itineraries.
4. Invoicing, receipting and maintaining client accounts.
5. Making payments to suppliers and industry partners.
6. Hosting client groups on location, ensuring an industry leading level of customer service.
7. Driving golfers in a Mercedes V-Class between airport / golf courses / hotels.
8. Positive office environment in St Andrews, personal workstation with iMac, MacBook Air and iPhone.
9. Staff uniform supplied by KJUS and Peter Millar.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience in the luxury golf travel sector is preferred but not essential.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A perfect grasp of the English language with excellent writing skills, punctuation and grammar.
3. Confident telephone etiquette.
4. Strong numeracy skills.
5. Extremely high attention to detail.
6. A clean driving licence (maximum of 3 points).
7. Ability and flexibility to travel and host groups across Scotland, Ireland and England throughout the season, which may include weekends and evenings. This could mean being away from home for extended periods and being requested to travel at short notice.
8. A strong geographical knowledge of the UK and Ireland.
9. An advanced level of customer service.
10. Confidence in nurturing client relationships.
11. A keen knowledge of golf is highly desirable, and a strong awareness of the leading courses throughout the UK & Ireland.
12. Living in or within a short commute of St Andrews.
13. A high level of proficiency in Office 365.
