Job Description:
Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.
The following is essential criteria:
* Degree in Social Work
* SWE Registration
* Right to work within the UK
Blackburn with Darwen Childrens Services require 2 agency social workers as soon as possible to cover in its Childrens Advice and Duty Service (previously known as MASH) – one full time post 5 days per week and one post for 4 days per week for 3 months initially. There will be no flexibility on the number of days of work.
The candidate must be at least 2 years post ASYE and have experience in frontline social work in a local authority with 5 years continuous references available and a current, valid DBS enhanced check in place.
You will be office based part of the week for 3 days and there is hybrid working in place. There is subsidised car parking close by in a central town location with proximity to main road networks and working across a 10 mile radius approx in Blackburn and Darwen.
Candidates must have current valid SWE registration with no ongoing investigations, and show interest in professional development opportunities on offer as part of the role.
You must have:
* A professional qualification in social work
* Social Work England registration.
* Enhanced DBS/Update service.
* References required for the last 5 years of employment.
