Job Title: Social Worker - Fostering Location: Bury/ Hybrid Rate: £35 per hour The Bury Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking an experienced Fostering Social Worker to join their team. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site as needed. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will complete assessments of connected carers and conduct viability assessments and Regulation 24 reports. You will provide support across the fostering service as required and collaborate with professionals from various agencies to support children and their carers. Additionally, you will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions. You will need a minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience as a social worker. You should have the relevant qualifications as per the Job Description and Person Specification (JDPS). You will need to undergo thorough checks of your employment history, including addressing any gaps.
