The role of the Regional Client Delivery Director will focus on:

As part of these, the Director is accountable for the growth and delivery of Water Consultancy projects working alongside the Operations Directors and operational teams. They will have strong client relationships and a reputation for providing advice and support to clients within their region, and for ensuring delivery exceeds client expectations.
Together with the operational teams, the Director will be accountable for delivery of financial targets on a month by month and year by year basis through the frameworks / projects undertaken for their regional clients.
Their role is also to ensure consistency across the Water Consultancy business and to support innovation and efficiency throughout the team by developing and sharing best practice.

What you’ll be doing
·The development of the Water Consultancy team by the securing of business generating revenue and profit growth as part of the Water Consultancy Leadership Team.
·Growing the business through identifying, developing, and delivering new workstreams and services, and working collaboratively with colleagues in the Consultancy and Operations businesses/teams to achieve this.
·The delivery of high-quality water consultancy services, demonstrating continuous improvement, to the measurable satisfaction of clients.
·Input to the long-term business development strategy for the business, identifying emerging needs and opportunities within the water industry and identifying the skills and competencies needed to address them.
·Drive innovation and efficiency across the Water Consultancy teams within the division.
·Supporting the Water Consultancy MD in business planning and commercial/risk management to pre-determined targets.
·Working with the Services Leadership team, to demonstrate leadership, management, motivation, and development of staff to improve their performance and achieve their potential, including clear succession planning.
·Accountable for the successful delivery of framework agreements delivered by the operations teams, delivering target profit margins (both percentage and absolute) from Framework programmes.
Who we’re looking for.
·You will have sound knowledge and understanding of the water & wastewater regulatory industry, with a focus on asset and capital engineering professional services with significant experience of water and wastewater, infrastructure and non-infrastructure solutions.
·Strong track record in the leadership and delivery of water / wastewater projects to client satisfaction.
·Significant experience as Framework Manager in a client facing capacity.
·Excellent interpersonal skills, staff development track record and team leadership experience.
·Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communications skills in English.
·Competent in MS Office.
·Ability to work on own initiative on technical and business matters.
·Work with, delegate, and utilise the skills of others to maximise the delivery and efficiency of the team.
·Mentor, support, and develop junior staff.
·Full UK Driving Licence
·Relevant Degree
·Chartered or Incorporated with ICE or CIWEM (desirable)
