Position: Art Teaching Assistant
Location: London
Job Overview:
Are you passionate about art and education? We are seeking an enthusiastic Art Teaching Assistant to join our team in London. In this role, you will work closely with our art department to deliver vibrant and interactive art lessons, fostering creativity and expression in our students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the art teacher in preparing classrooms and materials for lessons.
2. Support students during art activities, offering guidance and encouragement.
3. Maintain a safe and organized art environment conducive to learning.
4. Contribute to the development of lesson plans and curriculum materials.
5. Provide constructive feedback to students on their artwork.
6. Assist in organizing and displaying student artwork at school events.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art into cross-curricular activities.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working with children or young adults is preferred.
2. Genuine passion for art and art education.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
5. Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs.
6. Basic knowledge of art techniques and materials.
7. Relevant qualifications in art or education are desirable but not essential.
