They are now looking for a Finance Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Role
As the Finance Manager, you will co-manage our client’s financial accounting function. Supporting the Financial Controller, you will oversee financial data integrity by ensuring timely and accurate income and expenditure allocation, play a key role in the month-end process, and maintain accurate fixed asset records.
Managing and mentoring a team of Accounts Assistants, you will ensure professional growth through setting objectives, conducting appraisals, and offering guidance. You will also approve payments, manage internal recharges, and support the annual audit process with reconciliations and working papers.
Additionally, you will:
1. Contribute to continuous improvements to enhance the quality of financial processes
2. Ensure timely bank reconciliations and allocation of funds
3. Review and approve team-prepared journals
4. Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with month-end deadlines
5. Maintain regular communication with budget holders on project financial statuses
About You
To be considered as a Finance Manager, you will need:
1. To be a finalist or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or qualified by experience
2. Strong knowledge of financial accounting and experience in month-end reporting
3. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
