About Our Client:
Our client is a leading vehicle dealership based in the Southgate area of London, operating a busy, multi-franchise service department that covers Volkswagen Cars & Vans, Skoda, and BYD. With a skilled team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff, they pride themselves on providing exceptional service to their customers.
The Role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aftersales Manager to lead the busy multi-franchise department. As Aftersales Manager, you will oversee a team of 13 technicians, 5 apprentices, a workshop controller, an on-site warranty administrator, and 5 service advisors, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
1. Manage day-to-day operations of the service department, including MOTs, servicing, and repairs for vehicles.
2. Lead and motivate a team of technicians, apprentices, and service advisors to meet and exceed KPIs.
3. Ensure a high standard of customer service, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
4. Monitor and manage workshop performance, scheduling, and job delivery.
5. Oversee warranty processes and ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements.
6. Maintain strong communication with other departments to ensure smooth operation across the dealership.
7. Work towards achieving monthly and annual financial targets, including net profit and customer satisfaction bonuses.
The Ideal Candidate:
8. Significant experience in managing a busy multi-franchise aftersales department, ideally within the automotive industry.
9. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a large team.
10. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on achieving high customer satisfaction levels.
11. A solid understanding of workshop processes, MOTs, and vehicle repairs.
12. Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and achieving performance targets.
13. A team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
14. Full UK driving license (company car provided).
