Role Overview:
As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving the growth of the Manchester site by developing new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing clients. Your focus will primarily be on ocean and air freight, but you will also engage in road freight, warehousing, and e-commerce services. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to take their career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead business development efforts to expand client relationships and grow the business.
* Identify new business opportunities and drive sales through upselling and cross-selling.
* Develop tailored freight solutions for clients, with a primary focus on ocean and air freight services, as well as road freight, warehousing, and e-commerce.
* Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals and ensuring ongoing client satisfaction.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in business development within the logistics or freight forwarding sector.
* Proven ability to design and deliver complex, tailored freight solutions.
* Strong track record of hitting sales targets and driving business growth.
