Job summary We are a General Practice based dispensary with 4,500 dispensing patients, who are looking for a new team member. We work at our main dispensary site and also cover a branch surgery on mornings weekly. We are a friendly team, who would like to find a qualified dispenser to join our team. Main duties of the job You will work in the dispensary, covering all aspects of work normally carried out in a traditional pharmacy setting including, ordering of drugs, processed patient scripts, picking and dispensing items, and covering our busy patient service desk for collections and queries. You will also cover telephones for medication queries and assist with wholesale as part of this role. General quality processes will include date checking, control drug register, and working to industry recognised Standard Operating procedures. About us We are a large semi-rural GP practice located in central Cornwall. We have approximately 24,000 registered patients, with 4,500 of these registered for our dispensary. We have a large MDT team which includes GPs, Nurse practitioners, Paramedics, Physio, and full nursing team, together with associated admin teams. We are a training practice and actively support learning and development for teams.
