We are looking for experienced and ambitious Skilled Shift PSV Engineers to join Arriva, based at our Ware depot. As a PSV Engineer, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses & coaches, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA. The role will involve: · Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards. · Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability. · MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks. · Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA). · Attending roadside breakdowns. · A Full shift rota covering early, day and late shifts 5 out of 7 days Sunday through to Saturday – you will be one of 4 engineers on a 4 week rotating shift based loosely around 2 weeks of early shifts (0500/0600 starts), one week of days (0900/1000 start) and one week of lates (1400/1500 start) so you must be able to commit to this rota which can be shown to you in full at interview stage Requirements: · Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair - Minimum of NVQ level 3 or any equivalent international qualification (will require confirmation). · A full UK driving licence (6 points or less). · Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical. · APPLY NOW to join the Arriva team to help deliver our vision of providing clean, sustainable and reliable transport services to our customers for a greener future.
