You will be part of a thriving wider cross specialty psychological workforce in the Health Board., The post holder will provide a specialist clinical psychology service to the Bridgend locality CAMHS service. CTM UHB is also commissioned to provide CAMHS services to the Swansea Bay and Neath Port Talbot geographical area. The post holder will deliver clinical psychological interventions through direct assessment and therapeutic work. The post holder will provide clinical supervision, consultation, complex case discussion, day to day management and work within the multi-disciplinary team. The delivery of interventions required will be holding a strong psychological voice within the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and to assist and develop the thinking around complex children and young people accessing the CAMHS service. Delivery of a range of specialist psychological therapies will be required of the post holder. The post holder will be expected to be able to clearly and coherently assess risk, care plan, and develop psychological formulations and interventions for complex vulnerable children and families. The post holder will manage a caseload and provide leadership within the service within the multi-agency approach. The post holder will be required to provide specialist consultation and teaching to other members of the MDT, to multiagency colleagues and to other psychology professionals as required.
