About the role:
We are currently seeking a Learning and Teaching Coach to join our Quality Improvement department at The Bedford College group .
As a Learning and Teaching Coach, you play an important role in the success of our students through:
1. Quality Improvement and Teaching - Role model best practices; coach and develop teaching staff; promote high standards; assist new staff; teach and assess on Teacher Education programmes.
2. Innovation and Professional Development - Research and implement innovative teaching methods; deliver professional development; develop curriculum and subject specialisms; support reflective culture.
3. Collaboration and Planning - Work with Curriculum Heads; organize and implement plans for learning, teaching, and assessment; participate in initiatives; evaluate and report on impact.
4. Observation and Feedback - Evaluate quality of teaching; provide feedback and coaching; standardize observation processes; support professional development programs.
5. General Responsibilities - Share best practices; enhance own performance; participate in meetings and events; promote safeguarding, equality, and health and safety; undertake additional tasks as required.
About you:
6. Qualifications and Development - Full teaching qualification; degree or vocational training; GCSE English and Maths; commitment to a Master's degree; willingness for further professional development.
7. Experience and Knowledge - Outstanding teaching practice; coaching and mentoring staff; professional development training; observation and assessment; working in customer-focused and diverse environments; promoting equality and diversity.
