You'll be joining a growing division - making a significant impact in the commercial success of their operation by ensuring the main revenue driver - orders through their website - is the best version it could possibly be This role needs a strategic thinker with a proven background in e-commerce and digital marketing - driving online sales growth and enhancing the online brand presence There's real growth opportunity - not only to own the e-commerce function but to build a lead a team of your own Key Responsibilities : Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce site, including product listings are detailed and optimised to deliver right and relevant search results. Own the e-commerce function, creating a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Ensure the website is user-friendly, and regularly updated with new products, promotions, and content. Develop and execute an e-commerce sales strategy to support our online revenue and growth targets. Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, PPC, email marketing, social media advertising, and online promotions to generate sales leads and increased basket spend. The creation of a GDPR compliant engagement database to support the annual marketing plan - in partnership with the wider Marketing team - to drive brand cross-category awareness, customer loyalty and repeat business. Enhance the online shopper journey to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the e-commerce platform, such as traffic, conversion rates, and average order value. Analyse sales data and market trends to optimise product offerings and marketing efforts. Use web analytics tools to generate reports and insights to support the business in making data-driven decisions to optimise our e-commerce strategy. Implement customer feedback mechanisms and monitor our online customer service issues to ensure these are responded to and resolved promptly and effectively. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Procurement, Supply Chain, Technical, Sales, IT) and external partners to ensure joined up thinking. Work with our IT and external development teams to implement new features and troubleshoot technical issues. Ideal Candidate: Experience in UX/UI design principles. Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads). Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation techniques. Experience in Algolia search. Understanding of GDPR and creating and maintaining compliant mailing list. Experience of working with an ASP.NET web framework. Essential Experience : Proven experience as an E-commerce Manager or a similar role. Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing tools. Proficient in web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and Excel for data analysis. Creative mindset with a customer-centric approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience of building, leading and developing a team.
