Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver “better trained sailors to the front line faster”.
Reporting into the Training Planning and Scheduling Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the allocation of resource and production of timetables in order to meet the requirements of courses for the Royal Navy.
Job Description
What you’ll be doing:
* Creating and scheduling timetable course templates
* Updating of course templates
* Publishing course dates on the internal system
* Allocating resources and venues
* Providing the necessary levels of administrative support for visits, guest lecturers, external venues, courses within courses during the timetabling and planning process
* Supporting training course related accommodation and travel requirements for trainees
* Working collaboratively and engage with other training support departments and Training Groups
What we’re looking for:
* Proficient using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (maintaining existing spreadsheets)
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Team player with initiative
* Confident
* Previous planning experience, would be an advantage
* Experience using TAFMIS, would be desirable
