A Childrens Social Worker is required to join NEL’s Children with Disabilities Team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a close-knit team.
As a Social Worker on the Children with Disabilities Team you will
* Screen and assess the needs of Disabled Children and Young People
* Undertake Children and Families Assessments, Single Assessments and completing Reports on Disabled Children
* Complete statutory visits, including outside of county limits Pre-Birth Assessments
* Completed Care Plans, some jointly with health colleagues and other multi-agency professionals
* Completed CIN/CP plans
* Completed Court Statements
* Managed a complex caseload under strict time-scales
As a Social Worker you are required to:
* Hold a Social Work England registration
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
