Job summary We are looking an enthusiastic and experienced Radiographer or Medical Technologist to join our busy and friendly Nuclear Medicine teams at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. We have vacancies for both full and part time positions. The Nuclear Medicine service receives approximately 3000 referrals every year. You must have exceptional standards and consistently deliver the highest quality patient-focused care. Our Nuclear departments have two GE Discovery SPECT/CT systems, which are staffed by 10 Radiographers / Technologists and 3 Consultant Radiologists. Advanced practice is encouraged and we undertake Radiographer-led cardiac stressing. Cross-site working will be part of the role. The core working hours of the department are 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and a flexible approach to working patterns is essential. Maidstone Hospital is a large Oncology centre and many of the patients are referred for NM imaging and treatments. We also undertake cardiac and general imaging and therapies. We are the first centre in Kent to offer radium-223 therapy.
