About the Role
As Sales Team Manager, you think smart, plan ahead, and build strong relationships with clients and your team. You are responsible for increasing the total sales revenue for your team and ensuring consistent profitable growth through positive reinforcement and productive management. You must be able to identify objectives, strategies and plans to improve sales and earnings with the focus being on new acquisition business.
You will be reporting to our Sales Director with daily team stats and updates, as well as:
* Managing and motivating the team to achieve monthly sales targets.
* Monitoring the team’s performance against revenue targets.
* Coaching and developing the team with monthly or weekly 1-2-1s.
* Setting individual and team sales targets.
* Gathering monthly sales figure forecasts for operational reporting.
* Carrying out call monitoring and providing feedback when necessary.
* Assisting recruitment with interviews to grow your team.
The role will be based at our Leicester office, covering our standard working hours of Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am-5:00 pm, and Friday: 9:00 am-3:00 pm with no evenings, no weekends, and an early finish every Friday.
Ideal candidate
* Minimum 12-month experience: Proven success as a B2B Team Manager in a brokerage environment. Experience in managing a team of 15 salespeople or more.
* Passionate and results-oriented: A driven leader with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Exceptional people skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal abilities, and strong leadership qualities.
* Organisational skills: Proven ability to manage time effectively and maintain a high level of organisation.
