Team Leader Location :Blackpool Rate of Pay: £15.00 Hours - Full time This is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join a small team who have a desire to provide high quality, compassionate and empathetic care to a young woman who has recently moved into her own property following a lengthy stay as an inpatient in a hospital environment. J lives with Dissociative Identity Disorder (Formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder) and is in recovery from an Eating Disorder. Role and responsibilities To supervise staff and ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of J's support. To develop and distribute the duty rota monthly in advance, ensuring the correct number of staff and skill mix as needed. Supervision of staff within the team including but not limited to formal and informal supervision meetings, spot checks, mentoring and training. Completion of assessments, care plans, risk assessments and other related care and support documentation according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations. (Meetings to be held in person unless agreed by manager. Participation in the out of hours (on-call) Rota. To organise and coordinate care delivery in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager and within the financial plans (If required) Ensure that the care service is delivered to J at the times and for the duration specified in the relevant individual agreement(s) and contract standards. Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service. Ensuring all staff members have completed training required both online and practical. Develop effective working relationships with other employees within the service. Communication with recruitment on staffing levels and supporting to recruit.
