Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire (NG24)
Pay: £90 - £105 per day

Contract Type: Full-time, 8:15am - 3:30pm

We're working in partnership with a highly regarded independent SEN school based in Newark, which caters to students aged 5-19 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related needs. This nurturing school setting is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant who is ready to make a real difference in students' lives.
Role Responsibilities:
Offering 1-1 and small group support tailored to specific learning needs.
Assisting with the delivery of engaging, structured lessons and activities.
Supporting the emotional wellbeing and social development of students.
Promoting positive behaviour both in and out of the classroom.
Encouraging independence and teaching practical life skills through daily routines.
Helping to track progress and keep detailed records of student development.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is essential.
A calm, patient and adaptable approach with a genuine passion for helping others.
