About you You will possess the skills to set up and troubleshoot devices such as mobile phones (Android & iPhone), printers and be able to configure, install and relocate PC hardware. Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential, along with a basic understanding of TCP/IP networking in a small business environment (including routers, firewalls, access points, and switches). You should be confident in problem-solving and troubleshooting. Ideally, you will have foundational knowledge of JavaScript, Python and PowerShell, as well as experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V, an understanding of Azure and other cloud technologies. Experience with the installation of CCTV, WiFi access points (Ubiquiti) and CAT cabling/terminating is also desirable. About the role You will work closely with our IT Manager, providing IT support to staff at our Gillingham and Alfreton depots. You will receive training to assist in the development, testing and configuration of our IoT platform. Instal, update and monitor PC hardware, software, mobiles and printers. Assist with the installation of CCTV, WiFi and CAT6a/7 cabling. Terminate cables into keystones or RJ45 connectors. Learn to program (JavaScript) and develop on our IoT platform.
