Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented person to join our cybersecurity team. This role will provide hands-on experience in work scheduling and PMO project management support, offering a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work Scheduling:
2. Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables and internal/external billing schedules.
3. Support the coordination of resources with project managers and team leads.
4. Monitor project progress and help adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely completion.
5. Communicate schedule updates and changes to stakeholders.
6. PMO Support:
7. Assist in the development and implementation of PMO processes and best practices.
8. Support project managers in project planning, execution, and monitoring.
9. Help prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
10. Assist in facilitating project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
Cybersecurity Focus:
1. Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to understand project requirements and constraints.
2. Ensure that project schedules align with cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards.
3. Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks related to cybersecurity.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and can work on their own initiative.
2. You should have an interest in, or have completed courses in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Basic understanding of project management software would be an advantage (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
6. Interest in cybersecurity principles and practices.
7. Willing and able to commit to a degree-level course in Project Management.
