Salary: £36,595.10 + 5% extra for shift pattern
Contract: Permanent, 39 hours per week Monday to Sunday on shifts
Location: HMP Norwich, Knox Rd, Norwich NR1 4LU
We are seeking a NVQ Level 3 qualified Plumber to join our team at HMP Norwich, a Category B adult male prison. We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical services to HMPPS. We are looking for a mechanical engineer with any combination of the following:
1. Two years' experience working as a plumber or equivalent
2. Familiarity with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements
3. Experience working on commercial or industrial heating and water systems
4. Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
5. Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating), and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
6. Good Health & Safety knowledge
7. Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills
