Procurement Project Manager Location: Hybrid (Home-based with travel to Salford 3–4 times per month, occasional travel to Leeds) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: Competitive Benefits We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Project Manager with strong public sector expertise to join our Client on a full time permanent basis. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead end-to-end procurement projects within the IT & Digital and Healthcare categories, advising and supporting Category Teams on procurement strategies while ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023. You’ll be a key player in delivering quality outcomes by managing the entire procurement lifecycle—from planning and documentation through to contract award—while working closely with internal teams and stakeholders. What you’ll be doing: Leading procurement projects in line with NHS governance processes and timescales. Preparing ITT documentation and all bidder communications, ensuring alignment with the Procurement Act 2023. Collaborating with our Compliance, Legal, and Sourcing teams to gain approvals at key milestones. Ensuring procurement activities are delivered to a high standard and within agreed timelines. Managing stakeholder communication to keep everyone aligned and informed throughout the project. Supporting key project meetings including initiation and closedown sessions. Working closely with Category Teams to ensure procurement documentation reflects business and stakeholder needs. Liaising with the Programme Management Office to secure approvals for any changes. What you’ll bring: Solid knowledge of public sector procurement, with a strong understanding of regulated processes. Experience leading complex procurement projects, ideally within IT, Digital, or Healthcare. CIPS Level 5 or MCIPS, or working towards Level 6. A proactive, structured approach with great attention to detail. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. The ability to challenge constructively and promote continuous improvement. A team player mindset with emotional intelligence and a solution-focused attitude. It would be great if you also had: Experience with eProcurement tools and platforms.
