What does this HR & Business opportunity offer you? We’re recruiting for students to join our HR & Business Industrial Placement Programme within Nuclear Services. Nuclear Services was created as a centre of expertise, designed to help EDF maintain and develop our unique nuclear capability. In Nuclear Services, we support the full life cycle of a nuclear power plant & we support the Licensee’s from Nuclear new build projects through to our generating power station fleets and as some of our assets move into decommissioning. You’ll be working in a progressive HR team, and you’ll be supporting them to lead on key HR projects, such as our Employee Value Proposition as well as key business objectives supporting key business operational projects. You’ll be involved in creating positive change programmes to support our ambition to build a resilient workforce and retain our top talent as well as enabling the business to function as a outcome focused delivery. You’ll have the opportunity to take part in multiple HR activities some of these will include our ED&I (equity, diversity, and inclusion) wellbeing as well as general within the business team you will support on key activities which the business needs to function, such as reporting accountability and governance. Training, development, and support for you Over the course of this 12-month programme, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in hands-on learning, working on real-world challenges that directly impact the energy industry. Most of your learning will be on the job, supported by your mentor and the teams around you. You’ll have a chance to apply your academic training to genuine industry problems while completing modules that contribute towards your degree. You will have the opportunity to Gain insight on how our shared services programme works and be involved with the continuous improvement of systems and streamlining queries. Work on continuous improvement projects. Study our framework and processes and look for constant ways to improve these. This is a fantastic opportunity to hone your commercial, problem solving and people skills, whilst gaining broad exposure to our business. Who You Are We are looking for candidates who are on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a 2:2 undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Business or HR. You should possess strong technical and analytical skills, along with a genuine desire to learn and develop new capabilities.
