Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the EHS team on our net zero journey including carbon footprint reduction and energy improvement opportunities for our UK facilities.
* Monitoring and measuring environmental responsibilities within areas such as Waste reporting, energy usage and water taxonomy.
* Supporting the input of monthly EHS performance data for group.
* Assist with the analysis of all accident and near misses and reporting through the production of presentations and information for differing teams within the business.
* Support the scheduling and maintenance of the risk assessment program.
* Assist in organising the group EHS E-Learning.
* Assist with the maintenance of the occupational safety programme within KB including the recognition and evaluation of risk and introduction of appropriate control measures.
* Assist the EHS team regarding display screen equipment (DSE) assessments, E-Learning, safety inspections, risk assessments and both internal and external audits.
* Conduct site safety inductions for new employees and contractors.
* Interact with Operations, Management, staff, and other personnel regarding health, safety and Environmental awareness.
* Travel with the EHS team to other Knorr-Bremse UK sites to provide EHS support.
* Update periodic graphical information to provide updates to other areas of the organisation.
