Engine Prepper
Do you have an interest in or knowledge of vehicles, specifically engines? If the answer is yes, then we would love to hear from you!
We are seeking an Engine Prepper to join our team at our Head Office on Adwick-le-Street, Doncaster.
As an Engine Prepper, you will be responsible for ensuring that engines are properly cleaned and inspected to meet our high-quality standards. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of engines and a meticulous approach to work.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Remove and separate gearboxes from engines
2. Remove engine ancillaries
3. Prepare engines ready for sale including checking quality and testing that they are in good working order
4. Using our bespoke computer system to add the engines to our inventory system
5. Wrapping the engines ready for sale
Here’s what you bring:
1. Have a good knowledge of vehicle engines
2. Have a basic set of tools and impact gun
3. Have good computer skills, with the ability to adapt to our bespoke parts software
4. Have good attention to detail
5. Ability to work in a competent and efficient manner
6. Work well on your own or as part of a busy team
7. You will need to be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and multi-task methodically

This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS, Finance, Right to work and reference checks.
