About the Health and Social Care Teacher Role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join our successful Health and Social Care department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Health and Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5, inspiring students with engaging lessons and real-world applications of the subject. Responsibilities of the Health and Social Care Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities. Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore Health and Social Care concepts and develop their understanding of health and wellbeing. Assess and monitor student progress in Health and Social Care, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the Health and Social Care curriculum and departmental resources. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Health and Social Care teaching. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field. Experience teaching Health and Social Care at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Health and Social Care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
