What is great about the role? As a Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Business Partner, taking charge of month-end management accounts, analysing financial performance, and reporting variances. You'll actively support rolling forecasts, contribute to the annual budget setting process, and assist in long-term business planning. Your role extends to meaningful reporting for committees and boards, financial input into project teams, and collaborating with internal and external audit functions. What skills and experience do you need? The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in financial management, showcasing proficiency in the preparation of management accounts and the development of internal financial controls and procedures. Additionally, experience in presenting financial reports to senior management. A Qualified CCAB Accountant or possess a relevant and equivalent qualification, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. This combination of experience, skills, knowledge, and education is crucial for success in this role. These skills and experience will help drive our financial success and contribute to the overall growth and development of our organisation. What are the pay and benefits? We are open for this role to be either a Full or Part Time role, with hours ranging from 30- 37 per week. The role is fixed term for 14 months The FTE salary range is £46,448 - £50,213 Flexible working policies – this role would be both office and home based with regular time spent in our Swansea office and occasionally elsewhere including Newport.
