Salary: £40,000 Base + Uncapped OTE (£60,000+)

We’re seeking an exceptional Area Sales Manager to join a market-leading security and automation company. This role is perfect for someone with a background in security systems (CCTV, access control, automation) or complex technical solutions, who can confidently develop new business while managing existing accounts.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Hunting for New Business: Identify, target, and secure new clients across the Southwest region
* Account Management: Nurture and grow relationships with existing customers, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
* Technical Consultations: Deliver tailored solutions by understanding customer requirements and showcasing the technical benefits of our products
* Territory Planning: Create and execute a territory action plan, focusing on high-potential opportunities
* Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads, book meetings, and manage your own sales pipeline
* Product Demonstrations: Conduct engaging product demos, presentations, and technical briefings
* Sales Reporting: Prepare accurate reports, forecasts, and proposals for internal stakeholders
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ 3+ years of sales experience in security, CCTV, access control, automation, or complex technical solutions
✅ Strong business development skills – you love the thrill of closing new deals
✅ Technically minded with the ability to understand and communicate complex product features
✅ Resilient and persistent – comfortable facing rejection and bouncing back stronger
✅ Self-motivated and organized – able to manage your own schedule and work independently
✅ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers
Preferred Backgrounds:
* Security Systems: CCTV, access control, or perimeter security
* Automation: Data automation, industrial control systems, or gate automation
* Technical Sales: Experience selling complex B2B solutions with long sales cycles
