Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Learning and Student Experience (TLSE) Assistant within the Student Support and Wellbeing team in the School of Medical Sciences. We are seeking to appoint an individual with strong knowledge, skills, and an understanding of Teaching, Learning and Student Experience, with a strong interest and ideally some experience in Student Support and Wellbeing. It is essential that applicants can demonstrate a good understanding of academic and pastoral support procedures and processes in relation to the provision of postgraduate taught and/or undergraduate education and have knowledge of the University’s Wellbeing Support Services. The ideal candidates will also be able to work positively and respectfully with a range of students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds and be highly self-motivated with the capacity to work flexibly both alone and as part of a team. There is a requirement to have a proactive approach to managing your workload in this role and proven customer service skills. Anyone wishing to work in a busy and challenging environment, who has an ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure and can ensure high quality procedures (that comply with University rules, regulations and policies) be applied consistently, is encouraged to apply. This role currently has a hybrid working option. Please note that these Teaching Learning and Student Experience Assistant roles are primarily student-facing and therefore there is a requirement to work on campus a minimum of 4 days per week but may be up to 5 days per week when there is a business need.
