To apply or to register your interest, please contact Tatiana on 0121 454 1004 and quote Job Ref: 7399 OVERVIEW: • Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients, conduct case analysis, and collaborate with external professionals such as barristers, forensic experts, and investigators to build a robust defence. • Represent clients in court proceedings, including bail hearings, pre-trial conferences, plea negotiations, trials. • Stay updated on relevant laws through research, ensure adherence to legal ethics and confidentiality, and represent clients in various legal proceedings without direct court hearing attendance. • The candidate will have experience in criminal defence, specifically within drink driving, drug driving, fatalities, dangerous driving and speeding, including others. • Within this role, the locum solicitor will deal with privately funded cases. • As a locum, the appointed solicitor will have a minimum of 3 years PQE and experience in a client-facing role, with proven ability to manage own caseload for both guilty and not guilty pleas. • Candidates with experience in motoring law including defending motoring offences are encouraged to apply. • This role will be initially office-based but can offer hybrid working after settling in period.
