Job summary Consultant Orthodontist 8 PA's Permanent An opportunity has arisen for a substantive Consultant Orthodontist post at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS FT. We look forward to working with an enthusiastic team player to deliver a high quality orthodontic service and develop the department further. We are a district general hospital covering level 3b services for Tameside, Glossop and Oldham and we are part of the Greater Manchester training rotation. There are two other orthodontic consultants, a maxillofacial and oral surgery service and a visiting restorative consultant. Our work is mainly MDT orthognathic surgery and orthodontic /restorative clinics and other more complex multiple tooth impaction cases. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will join a team of senior medical and nursing staff committed to providing a high-quality surgical and orthodontic service to the people of Tameside and Glossop. The common aim will be to develop the department in all aspects of clinical service, teaching and research. Close teamwork is an essential requirement.
