What to Expect
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join our customers onsite operations based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.
The Maintenance Engineer will report to the Engineering Support Manager and will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed in line with the Computerised Maintenance System.
2. Ensuring all information is captured on the Computerised Maintenance System, including booking spares, time, and machine and fault information.
3. Servicing, repairing and fault diagnosis of all equipment.
4. Identifying future projects and enhancements to improve throughput and capacity and reduce downtime.
5. Identifying spares and replacement machine parts to ensure limited downtime.
6. Implementation of agreed improvements.
7. Ensuring a good level of housekeeping of all automated areas is maintained.
8. Adhering to all health and safety requirements.
The successful Maintenance Engineer will have:
1. ONC/HNC or equivalent.
2. Proficient experience in Engineering and Maintenance.
3. Effective time management.
4. Strong problem-solving skills.
5. Good customer relations.
6. Ability to work solo and as part of a team.
The hours of work are 5:30am till 5:30pm and 5:30pm till 5:30am covering Mon-Sun and repeating every 28 days.
This role would suit an Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Service Engineer.
