The Accelerator Lead will lead and drive sustainable step change improvement every 16 weeks applying the Continuous Improvement Culture & Mindset and Problem Solving GPS standards, tools and techniques. The role holder will have a strong understanding and experience of the External Manufacturing organisation, processes and systems, with wider organisation and E2E process knowledge, relationships and connections. Priority accelerator focus areas will be defined by the EM Leadership Team according to the top problem business needs and the role holder will define, lead and execute improvement plan activities to deliver measurable and sustained improvements.

In this role you will:
* Act as an active leader for the organisation, working closely with the EM Leadership Team and PQTS+ members at all levels to define, lead, co-ordinate and execute clear improvement goals for each accelerator using the GPS standard.
* Lead and coach waste mapping across EM.
* Ensure thorough stakeholder engagement and change management methodology is applied before, during and after each accelerator.
* People development and coaching across External Manufacturing and for those involved in accelerator delivery.
* Prepare, manage and execute a detailed improvement plan for each accelerator to deliver goal translation objectives.
* Implement appropriate daily and weekly governance to ensure each accelerator is progressing as per plan.
* Effectively manage own workload to deliver specific improvement plan activities as well as coordinating and leading the overall accelerator.
* Build strong relationships and credibility across all levels of the External Manufacturing PQTS+ organisation.
* Support building CI Culture & Mindset and Problem Solving and change management capabilities.
* Support and implement a CI knowledge sharing and priority improvements system/process/governance.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
* BSc or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Operations, CI.
* Demonstrated knowledge of External Manufacturing operations and processes.
* Leadership experience (either direct or indirect matrix management).
* People and capability development experience.
* Extensive experience in change management and CI.
* Knowledge of applicable manufacturing and packaging processes including Solid, Liquid, Cream, Steriles, Antibiotics and Devices.
* Experience with EM systems, data and KPIs.
* Financial acumen and understanding of P&L and improving cost.
* Understanding and experience of OTIF, inventory, flow, waste reduction, quality improvement, data analytics.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* BSc or equivalent experience and additional relevant qualification.
