An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the technical team in Harper & Keele Veterinary School. The post holder will work closely with the academic team, supporting the delivery of practical teaching sessions, primarily in the areas of veterinary anatomy, pathology and clinical skills.

The successful candidate will become part of the technical team supporting the delivery of teaching across a variety of Laboratory classes.
The role involves supporting the delivery of laboratory practical sessions, including set up and clean down of a wide range of practical areas. The role also involves working with the wider technical team for organisation and maintenance of consumables, equipment and development of teaching models.
The role holder will assist the team in monitoring and maintaining a safe working environment within the laboratories and teaching spaces, ensuring that the environment meets Health and Safety requirements and that any procedures are carried out in compliance with their associated regulations. The post holder will demonstrate safe working procedures and appropriate use of specialist equipment with Health and Safety issues.
The appointee will be primarily based either at the Harper or the Keele campus but occasional travel between campuses will be required.
You will have some experience of working in a team, working within a regulatory environment and adhering to Health & Safety in a working environment. You will have a minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent.
