Excellent opportunity for a sales professional with experience within hydraulics or component sales to join a market-leading organisation that places a significant emphasis on staff training, development, and progression.
This company is well-known within their field, with over 30 sites across the UK. Due to retirement, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their busy team.
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. Sales experience with blue-chip clients in hydraulics and component sales.
2. An understanding of hydraulic systems, design, and solutions.
3. A technical, hands-on background in hydraulics, looking to transition into a sales role.
In this role, you will:
1. Focus on new business sales within the hydraulics and components manufacturing sector across various industries such as Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Defence & Civils.
2. Work in a hybrid model with a 50/50 split between office-based and home-based working.

The person:
1. Sales professional with experience in roles such as Business Development, Commercial Manager, Sales Engineer, Sales Director, or Technical Sales.
2. Experience working within hydraulics and components manufacturing & sales.
3. Full UK Driving License.
4. Understanding of hydraulics distribution, system installation, design, build, and solutions.
5. Consideration will also be given to hands-on hydraulics engineers looking to transition into a sales role.
The role:
1. A focus on new business generation within a wide range of blue-chip clients.
2. Working within hydraulics and component sales.
3. Collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders and a small internal sales team.
4. Reporting to the Managing Director.
