What you’ll do at work
LAT Apprenticeships are looking for an enthusiastic Business Admin Apprentice to join the team at Streets Estates Agents.
Streets is a family-run, independent estate agency specialising in lettings and sales. They take pride in delivering outstanding service to their clients and always go the extra mile to stand out.
The Role:
We are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to support the Sales and Lettings team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the property industry while developing valuable administrative and customer service skills.
As part of this role, you will be enrolled in a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, delivered by LAT Apprenticeships. The programme lasts 18 months, providing structured online learning alongside practical work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answering phone calls and assisting clients and customers
* Filing paperwork, scanning, and copying documents
* Uploading property photos, checking paperwork, and preparing drafts for approval
* Typing property descriptions
* Keeping window displays up to date
* Liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors
* Handling applications and tenant referencingArranging viewings and managing the office diary
* Processing tenancy agreements and key collections
* Coordinating mid-term inspections and ensuring compliance with yearly property checks (e.g., gas safety certificates)
Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking a confident, professional, and personable individual who can engage effectively with clients, landlords, and third parties both in person and over the phone.
Previous office and admin experience is not essential. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, able to work independently, and comfortable handling a fast-paced environment.

* Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to: write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages. Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem. Able to update and review databases, record information and produce data analysis where required.
* Produces accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals. Makes recommendations for improvements and present solutions to management. Drafts correspondence, writes reports and able to review others' work. Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures. Coaches others in the processes required to complete these tasks.
* Exercises proactivity and good judgement. Makes effective decisions based on sound reasoning and is able to deal with challenges in a mature way. Seeks advice of more experienced team members when appropriate.

Your training plan
Training will take place online through LAT Apprenticeships, allowing you to learn alongside your work at Streets Estate Agents. The programme includes structured online sessions, assignments, and regular progress reviews. Training will be delivered on a flexible schedule, with dedicated study time provided during working hours. The apprenticeship lasts 18 months, leading to a nationally recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification.

Other requirements
