Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a x2 Administrative Assistants, one on a permanent basis, the other fixed term until December 2025, based at Woodland View .
What you will do:
You will provide a comprehensive administrative support and be the first point of contact on behalf of the Senior Charge Nurses within an in-patient hospital setting.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You will be educated to SVQ Level II in Business Administration/IT or have equivalent clerical experience. You will have excellent administrative and accredited computer skills with practical experience and knowledge of database creation and maintenance. You will have a working knowledge and a high level of competence of Microsoft Office Packages (i.e. Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Teams) and also possess a recognised IT qualification. Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and verbal are essential as well as a high degree of interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with highly confidential/sensitive issues in an appropriate manner. You must have the ability to adhere to strict maintenance of confidentiality with a knowledge/understanding and compliance of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The ability to work unsupervised whilst using your own initiative as well as being able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team is essential. You must also be able to work to challenging timescales by organising and prioritising your workload and have the flexibility to change and last minute demands.

1. Hours: 37 per week, working Monday 9.00 am to 4.30 pm and Tuesday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
This post is Fixed Term or period of Secondment until 31 December 2025.
A car driver is desirable as you may be required to travel across various sites/bases within Ayrshire & Arran.
