Responsibilities: As a Special Education Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide tailored support to children with SEN in both classroom and one-to-one settings. Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development. Encourage positive behaviour and help to create a nurturing learning environment. Liaise with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students. Requirements: To be successful as a Special Education Teaching Assistant, you must have: Previous experience working with children with SEN (essential). A strong understanding of how to support children with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills. The ability to work well as part of a team. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or the willingness to apply for one.
