Responsibilities Provide admin support to the group of companies – mainly the construction/renewables/energy businesses, however you may be required to help with other sectors on occasion e.g., automotive, marketing and production Maintaining various databases to improve business functionality Document Management Scheduling appointments Call handling – be the first point of contact and managing the office phone lines Handle all telephone enquiries from customers, suppliers, staff, and more and direct them to the correct department Dealing with purchase requisitions and provide admin support to purchasing team where required Ensure employees are submitting their vehicle safety check sheets, fuel receipts and following procedures set by the business Support HSEQ reporting Support and carry out any other ad hoc admin duties, as and when required. Essential Skills 3 years plus experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role Familiarity with office management procedures Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel proficient Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Excellent telephone manner with the ability to communicate at all levels Attention to detail Ability to multitask Desire to make positive impact at work – e.g., suggesting process improvement, offering to help others.
