We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head of RE to join an amazing secondary school in Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to lead and develop the Religious Education department, ensuring students receive a high-quality learning experience. As Head of RE, you will play a key role in shaping the curriculum, inspiring students, and driving the success of the department.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the RE department as Head of RE, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning.
* Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons that motivate and challenge students.
* Develop and implement curriculum strategies to enhance student outcomes.
* Monitor and track student progress, providing interventions when needed.
* Support and mentor teaching staff within the RE department.
* Work closely with school leadership to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching RE at the secondary level, with a strong track record of success.
* Proven leadership skills, ideally with experience as a Head of RE or similar role.
* Passion for Religious Education and a commitment to student progress.
* Strong communication, organisational, and team-working skills.
