Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to work at a location in Waterlooville.
Key Responsibilities for the position include:
1. Uncover new customers and opportunities within the territory.
2. Creating a business strategy to increase growth for your territory and presenting that to the sales manager.
3. Understanding customer needs and requirements whilst introducing and presenting the best solutions we offer.
4. Skilfully executing each phase of the sales process from pipeline entry to closing the deal. Deliver sales activity to meet and exceed sales and margin targets.
5. Building strong and long-term relationships with clients - to be considered a trusted partner.
6. Margin integrity; ensuring consistency and identifying opportunities for margin growth.
7. Analysing customer risk and improving customer retention.
8. Providing forecasting in support of the sales plan.
Key Skills & Experience required for the position include:
1. Proven sales experience in a professional environment.
2. Solid business acumen and commercial knowledge.
3. Knowledge of customer risk and how to mitigate.
4. Effective presentation and interpersonal skills, to run successful meetings.
5. Strong planning and organizational skills.
6. Exceptional communicator with a customer-focused attitude.
7. Positive attitude towards change and improvements.
8. Knowledge of the medical industry preferred, but not essential.
9. A full and clean driving license.
