What skills and experience we're looking for
• Proven track record of outstanding Business Studies teaching or evidence of outstanding practice during training
• Knowledge and understanding of the curriculum requirements for the subject
• Experience of teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and 5
• Proven track record of strong and effective behaviour management strategies
• Excellent ICT skills
• Strong ability to analyse data and use it purposefully to inform planning in order to have a positive impact on student outcomes
• Ability to communicate effectively and relate well to all stakeholders
• Willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities
• Ability to work as part of a team
Desirable
• Experience of teaching IT at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5
• Experience of teaching Media at Key Stage 4 and 5
• Experience of being, or willingness to be an examination marker now or in the future

We are seeking to appoint a candidate who is passionate about their subject area; a team player who will thrive on collaboration and team-work; someone who really wants to make a difference!
We are primarily looking for an applicant who can teach Business at KS4 and KS5. The ability to teach IT or Media would also be of interest to us.
