We are seeking to recruit a Senior Pharmacy Technician to work in the Pharmacy Procurement and invoicing terms.
This is a newly created role to assist in the procurement of pharmaceuticals, contrast media, enteral feeds and medical gases for our hospital sites and external customers.
To be involved in developing and delivering pharmacy ward stock services and external supplies. To be involved in the production and review of new and outstanding Standard Operating Procedures relating to and which include purchasing, stores and invoicing.
Providing support for complex procurement issues to Hampshire Hospitals Commercial Services.
To support thePharmacy Procurement and Medicines Optimisation Managerin leading, developing, delivering and evaluating the distribution of medications and other items for the Pharmacy business unit, to both internal and external customers, with responsibility for business planning and staff management in line with pharmacy service level agreements and objectives set by the Associate Director of Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation..To assist and develop the safe and efficient running of the Pharmacy procurement and invoicing departments with support from a senior pharmacist.
