You will be involved in key projects across various areas of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, learning and development, wellbeing, and diversity and inclusion. Key areas of responsibility – The challenge Deliver People Initiatives - Actively contribute to key people projects within the People Roadmap. Working both independently and collaboratively to design, implement, and deliver initiatives and programs that drive positive employee experiences across Slater Heelis. Change Management - Support and deliver change initiatives, partnering to embed these changes across the firm by working with teams and leaders, ensuring successful implementation and adoption. Customised Employee Experience - Understand the diverse needs of employees at different levels and within different departments. Tailor initiatives and programs to fit these varying needs, ensuring inclusivity and effectiveness. Process Optimisation - Evaluate and refine current people processes, looking for opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance overall employee satisfaction. Upskilling - Support the upskilling, coaching, and development of people leaders across the firm. Help them implement best practices in people management and provide guidance on developing high-performing teams. Communication - Taking responsibility for the design and distribution of employee communications. People Operations - Manage key aspects of people operations throughout the employee lifecycle. This includes coordinating key HR processes (e.g., performance reviews, promotions, employee relations issues) and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within functional areas. Employee Relations – Support and partner with leaders to address employee relations matters. Advise on appropriate solutions, manage conflict resolution, and ensure alignment with UK Employment Law. Provide ongoing support for maintaining positive and compliant working relationships. People Frameworks/Policies - Assist in the creation and regular updating of people policies and procedures, ensuring they align with best practices. Day to day this might look like - Learning and Development Assess training needs, co-creating and design learning and development experiences to support career development. Evaluating and iterating. Coordinate and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and e-learning opportunities. Onboarding Co-creating and managing our onboarding program to ensure a smooth and welcoming transition for new arrivals. Complete necessary onboarding checks, send out offers and employment contracts, coordinate onboarding schedules, orientation training and periods. Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Collaborating with the DIB Committee and firm leadership to ensure diversity and inclusion initiatives align with company goals. Organise and deliver training and awareness programs on diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Wellbeing Co-creating, developing and implementing deliberate wellbeing programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. Conduct and support wellbeing meetings and programs, liaising with health practitioners and external partners where necessary. Why join us?
